Lazy Girls Club - Temptation & Dieting

Hello there,
I want to say sorry for not posting last Sunday, sometimes i run out of ideas and so i don't post so if you have anything you would like me to blog about or have any ideas that i could maybe do then please leave a comment down below or follow me on twitter and tweet me - @teeeenblog :-)

Anyway, Moving on.
Carrying on with the series 'Lazy Girls Club' i thought i would discuss temptation and dieting as that's something i find particularly hard with the whole losing weight situation and its probably the most relative subject. So if you are like me and cant say no to all things sweet then hop on board the train and let the 'hunger' games begin ( i find myself hilarious )

Again, i am probably the worst person to give you advice considering yesterday i spent my Saturday night eating dominoes and by dominoes i mean a lot and watching films but on the other hand i may be the best(not really) as this subject is something i relate to daily.

Well,Well,
Temptation is always the hardest stage of losing weight and also the worst. Just when you thought you were on track, someone has to bring out the chocolate bar and with three simple words 'do you want some' you are gone and as my mother says when i say no 'its okay you go to the gym' but is it really okay to say yes to everything tempting just because you go the gym? I don't think so.
Yes, you can have 'cheat days' that's a totally different subject but you cannot just eat and eat unhealthy foods just because you go to the gym because unfortunately that's not how it works. You may not gain any weight but if you were to live like that, you would never lose, you would just stay the same or gain a little. Which is good for some people; don't get me wrong but if you started dieting and going to the gym to lose weight then well, you wouldn't get any where with that method.
I think what i'm trying to say is yes, you can have 'cheat days' but you cant just going rushing into things when someone brings up the words 'chocolate' or 'mcdonalds. Trust me, its hard but with a bit of practice with the words 'no thankyou' you'll soon get there..

Dieting is also a struggle for me, it normally ends up that i start on Monday and end on the same Monday or i just never start, but i did started dieting at the start of the new year, eating vegetables and all things healthy and that in fact lasted a week so at least give me a bit of credit for that ey.
I haven't really got any advice or pick me ups on dieting considering i always fail so i just thought i would give you a 'shopping list', things you could maybe go and buy from your local shop and cook.

                                         Hannah's Healthy Shopping List
                                                      - Reduced cheese
                                                      - Salmon
                                                      - Baby Potatoes
                                                      - Carrots
                                                      - Whole Meal Pasta
                                                      - Bananas
                                                      - Salad
                                                      - Prawn Cocktail

So there, that's just a few things you could add onto your shopping list this week to 'spice' things up or try something creative.

Goodbye for now

Lazy Girls Club - Motivation & Determination

Hello there,
Welcome to The 'Lazy Girls Club'
If you haven't already gathered from the title, i thought we would talk about 'Motivation & Determination'.
As it is the beginning of the new year or what some people call it 'a fresh start' many of us feel the urge to say no to the fat food and start a diet. Which if you are like me will probably only last around 2 days or until somebody gets the chocolate out.

Ironic really, how i, a teenager who lacks motivation in near enough anything - homework, exercise. You name it im down on the list of people who lack motivation decides to talk about this subject and try and give my advice to you guys.
Now im not going to be one of those people who say 'do this, do that to improve' because a) who listens to those people any way and b) it would all be lies but be that person who can help, motivate and pick you up when ever you feel like giving up or stopping.

Please note im not saying you should suddenly stop and change your life schedule just to exercise or lose weight and that you should lose weight and try and change your figure because someone else has a problem with it because that is nonsense. If somebody has a problem with your weight then you shouldn't let it affect you because everyone is beautiful in all shapes and sizes and being you should be enough for people and if it isn't then they don't deserve you. You should only take this into consideration if you, yourself is unhappy with your body and believe you want to change for yourself and not for others.

Anyways, before i get anymore sidetracked, i better tell you what on earth this is all about.
As i have started going to the gym and trying to eat healthier to lose some pounds and i thought some of you may like to join me on this whole BIG adventure.
I thought i would do a series of posts about healthy eating, dieting and exercise and give you my tips and advice on how to get into shape for events or a summer body, basically, really this is just one huge introduction to the series and a slight explanation.

I will posting the series once every 2 weeks as well as posting as normal about other things, I hope you decide to join me on this adventure and we all work together to motivate and succeed.

Goodbye for now
